
But, compared to the pumper has a few disadvantages.It's not self-contained, is affected by temperature changes and you will lose the facility to match the number of pumps to intended use on the day. The Ratty is so, so easy and effortless to use. I'm sure there would be other things that may also need swapping, so.įar better, and much more economical to sell the pumper and just buy a Ratty. I've not looked at prices, but would have guessed that you could buy the CO2 tube body for not-a-lot-of-dosh.



However, converting the pump tube to accept the CO2 would be a little more than tricky.The front would have to be threaded to accept the screw in cap but, obviously, it's all cut away at the front on the pumper for the pump lever. Although I haven't done, or considered, the conversion, I'd have guessed that it would be fairly straightforward, as the breeches etc all line up.
